Parent Workshop
August 19 - 20
Sejong Cultural Education, Inc. is proud to bring back the Parents Workshop, a wonderful opportunity for Camp Sejong parents to meet and learn about raising Korean children in the US, in this computerized, digital age. We are delighted to announce that with the support of Dave Foundation and Sejong Cultural Education, Inc., this program will not only be enlightening, but will also be quite affordable!  As in the past, we have timed the program to coincide with the date that you will be picking up your children from Camp Sejong.  The program will be held on the Friday before Camp Sejong conclu des, August 19, 2011, at the Holiday Inn, Budd Lake,NJ which is approximately a half hour from the Happiness is Camping facility. The program will begin at
lunchtime, and continue through dinner on Friday.  The next morning you will pick up your Camp Sejong kid(s). The program will be very informative with the focus on adoption and child-raising issues.  Our guest speakers are:  Jeffrey Mead, Documentary Film Maker; and Joy Lieberthal, Social Worker and Consultant for Spence Chapin. Thanks to our donors, the all-inclusive cost will be just $40.00 per person, that includes:

  • Overnight stay at the Holiday Inn (based on two per room occupancy)
  • Continental breakfast the next morning.
