Ms. Jo is one of earliest founding members of Sejong since 1994 and was appointed as President of Sejong in 2009.  She is a teacher with 30 years experience in primary and secondary education in US public schools, as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, a bilingual consultant, a counselor and a parent educator.  She holds a Master’s degree in bilingual special education and early childhood education, as well as Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Education, and is recognized by the state of New Jersey as a Licensed Pastoral Counselor.

Julia S. Park, Executive Director

After serving Camp Sejong as a voluntary teacher for 2 years, Ms. Park was appointed Executive Director of Sejong in 2009.  She has been a new driving force to revitalize Sejong both financially and program wise.  Her three boys have been active participants in Camp Sejong and programs for 5 plus years.  She holds a BA degree in Economics.  After quitting her professional job in accounting field, she started her community service work at the Rainbow Center, a homeless shelter for Asian-American women.  In addition, she has taught Korean traditional music and dance to elementary school, high school, and college students and has organized and performed at various Korean cultural events.  She is a certified Korean Traditional Music Teacher for children recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Korea.

Linda Priore, Manager of Operations

Since Sejong’s founding in 1992, Ms. Priore has been an integral part of its operations.  The rock who so faithfully executes so many of the unglamorous, seemingly thankless minutes behind the scenes, Ms. Priore leads all registration, bookkeeping and staffing activities, to name a few.  Ms. Priore works part-time at Our Lady of Mercy Church, volunteers as organist at Sunday Mass, performs outreach and assistance as part of the Lazarus Ministry, and also volunteers with the homeless.
